AHMET ALTUN

Ahmet Altun, currently a skilled sonographer with over 16 years of experience in medical imaging, has a well-rounded background in radiology and general medicine. Initially trained in radiology at Bulent Ecevit University Medicine Faculty in Turkey, after completing his medical degree at Cukurova University, Dr. Altun has since expanded his expertise into the specialized field of sonography.

His professional journey includes significant roles, such as serving as a radiologist and sonographist at Avrasya Hospital in Turkey and completing an observership in sonography at Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the UK. Dr. Altun also spent several years in an academic environment as a radiology assistant at Bulent Ecevit University Medicine Faculty, where he refined his skills in sonography and diagnostic imaging under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

Dr. Altun’s clinical experience spans over 11 years in general medicine, and he has worked in various healthcare settings, such as hospitals and health centers, performing a wide range of medical duties including physical examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and minor surgeries. He is also highly proficient in performing ultrasound imaging, an area where he now focuses on delivering exceptional patient care with specialized sonographic techniques.
