We’re a CQC-registered private medical clinic on Whitechapel Road in East London, founded to bring same-day appointments, transparent prices and consultant-led specialist care to a community that has historically waited too long for either. Our team treats patients as people first — in their first language wherever possible.
My Health & Wellbeing Clinic was founded on a simple belief: every Londoner deserves better than the trade-off between long waits and impersonal care. Our founders, led by Dr Haydar Bolat — a UK-registered family doctor with over a decade of NHS experience in family medicine, urgent care and A&E — built a clinic where patients could be seen the same day, by an experienced clinician, with a price list they could see in advance.
From our home on Whitechapel Road, we serve patients across the City of London, Aldgate, Liverpool Street, Tower Hill, Shoreditch and the wider capital. We operate as a small, multidisciplinary group: GPs handle most pathways from the start, consultant specialists in plastic surgery, urology, ENT and cardiology see patients in-house without external waiting lists, and a dedicated mental health team supports anyone whose care goes beyond a single appointment.
Every clinician on staff is registered with the relevant UK regulator. The clinic itself is registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) — the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

Our Clinical Director is a UK-registered family doctor with over a decade of NHS experience across family medicine, urgent care and A&E. He leads the clinical governance of every pathway at MHW Clinic and personally oversees the GP team. He is supported by a multidisciplinary group of GMC-registered colleagues, consultant specialists, mental health clinicians, sonographers and clinical support staff — sixteen clinicians in all, working under one roof.

Many of our patients speak English as a second (or third) language, and the experience of being unwell is hard enough without struggling to be understood. Our clinicians and reception team speak five languages between them — and for languages we don’t cover, we’ll arrange an interpreter at the time you book.
