Common questions
Before you buy
How long are vouchers valid?
Twelve months from the date of issue. The expiry date is shown clearly on every voucher. If you have a voucher about to expire, contact us — we’ll usually extend it for genuine reasons.
What can they be used for?
Any service at MHW Clinic: GP consultations, specialist appointments, diagnostics, mental health assessments, hair transplantation, aesthetic treatments, ultrasound, women’s health, men’s health, and Health MOTs. They cannot be used to buy other gift vouchers, or to top up cash refunds.
Are they refundable?
Vouchers are non-refundable once issued, in line with UK consumer law for personalised digital gift items. They are, however, transferable — if the recipient cannot use it, they can give it to someone else.
Can they be transferred?
Yes. The voucher code can be used by anyone the original recipient gives it to. Single-use only — once redeemed, it cannot be re-used.
Can the recipient use part of it and save the rest?
Yes. If a voucher exceeds the cost of an appointment, the balance remains on the voucher for use within the original 12-month validity. Multiple visits on one voucher is fine.
Will the recipient know the amount?
The amount is shown on the voucher PDF, since the recipient needs to know what services it can cover. If you’d prefer a discreet version that just shows “Open value”, tell us when ordering and we’ll produce one without the amount printed.
Can I include a personal message?
Yes — include the message you’d like in your purchase request and we’ll include it on the voucher PDF.
Can it be combined with insurance?
Vouchers are for self-pay treatment only. If the recipient wants to claim through insurance instead, the voucher remains valid for future use.
How do I receive the voucher?
By email, as a PDF, normally within one working day. You can forward it, print it, or hand it over in person. If you need physical delivery (printed and posted), we can arrange that for an additional £5 postage; please request when ordering.
Can businesses buy vouchers for employees?
Yes. We issue VAT-compliant invoices and can handle bulk orders (e.g. 10 × £200 vouchers). For corporate wellbeing programmes, please email us with your team size so we can arrange efficiently.
