When your friend books their first appointment, they tell reception — or write in the WhatsApp/email booking message — that they were referred by you. Your full name is enough.

You both get £25 credit
After your friend attends their appointment and pays, we credit £25 to your account and £25 to theirs. Use it against any future appointment.

It’s how we grow
We do almost no paid advertising. Most of our new patients come from someone they trust. So when you refer a friend, you’re saving us advertising money — and we’d rather give that to you and your friend than to Google.
It’s a fair exchange
£25 is meaningful enough to notice, small enough not to feel manipulative. We don’t want anyone recommending us just to chase rewards — just to mention us if they’ve had a good experience.
Your friend gets the same
It would be off if you got rewarded but they didn’t. So the credit is symmetric — £25 each, on the first appointment for the new patient, on the next appointment for you.
Common questions
Before you refer
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No limit. Refer 1, refer 100. Each successful referral earns you £25 credit.
When does the credit get applied?
After your friend attends their appointment and the appointment is paid for. The credit appears on your account within 2 working days and you’ll receive a confirmation message.
How long do I have to use the credit?
Twelve months from the date it’s applied to your account. We’ll remind you before it expires.
Can I cash out the credit instead of using it on an appointment?
No — the credit is for future appointments only and is not transferable to cash. It can however be transferred to a partner or family member of the original credit holder, on request.
Can credits be combined?
Yes — if you have multiple credits (from multiple referrals), they can be combined toward a single appointment. The total credit cannot exceed the appointment fee.
Does this apply to my friend if they’re a returning patient?
No — the £25 friend credit applies only to new patients on their first appointment with us. If both parties are existing patients, the policy doesn’t apply.
Can my friend use insurance and still get the credit?
The friend credit applies to their first self-pay appointment. If they’re using insurance for the appointment, the credit will be applied to their next self-pay appointment instead.
Can I refer my own partner or family member?
Yes — family members count, as long as they are a new patient at MHW Clinic.
What if my friend forgets to mention me at booking?
Contact us as soon as you can — up to 14 days after their first appointment — and we’ll apply the credit retrospectively. After 14 days we can no longer add it.
Can I cancel a referral?
No — once your friend attends and the credit has been applied, it stays applied to both accounts.
