Elif Cayhan is a Psychologist at MHW Clinic, providing one-to-one therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and the kinds of psychological challenges that benefit from structured support. She speaks English and Turkish.
Elif is a qualified psychologist working at MHW Clinic. Her clinical work covers the range of common adult mental health presentations — anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship issues, identity and life-stage concerns — with an integrative, evidence-based approach.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Courses of therapy are typically 8–16 sessions for focused work, longer where the underlying issues need more careful exploration. The structure is agreed openly at the assessment stage rather than left vague.
She speaks English and Turkish, and a substantial share of her caseload involves Turkish-language therapy — for clients who feel they can be more honest about their experiences in their first language.

Most consultations are 30–45 minutes for an initial assessment, shorter for follow-ups. You’ll be seen in a single appointment, with bloods, ECG or other tests (if needed) usually done on the same visit.
Results from on-site tests are typically back within 24–48 hours via TDL (our laboratory partner). Follow-up consultations are scheduled to discuss results, refine treatment, or make onward referrals. With your consent, we write to your NHS GP so your record stays joined-up.
Where your case needs a different specialist, Elif refers to a panel of trusted clinicians across London — matched to your specific need. We don’t take commission or referral fees from any external provider.
