About Dr Kishore Bahl

Urology, straight-talking.

Dr Bahl is a GMC-registered specialist with a long career in urology and general surgical practice. At My Health & Wellbeing Clinic he provides urology consultations covering the full range of male and female urological concerns, with a particular focus on men's health, prostate issues and urinary symptoms.

His consultations are direct and evidence-based. Where patients have raised PSAs, urinary symptoms, or concerns about prostate cancer, he explains the actual evidence around screening, the limitations of PSA testing, when MRI or biopsy is appropriate, and what comes next on a clear pathway — not vague reassurance or unnecessary investigations.

Dr Bahl also forms part of the clinic's hair transplant team, contributing surgical expertise to procedure assessments and patient consultations.

What they see

Clinical focus.

The range of work this clinician does at the clinic. Some appointments are routine; some sit at the boundary of where a specialist referral is needed, and we'll say so.

Prostate health

PSA testing and interpretation, prostate symptom assessment (LUTS), BPH (benign prostate enlargement) management, suspected prostate cancer pathway with referral for MRI and biopsy where indicated. Honest conversation about screening evidence.

Urinary symptoms

Urinary frequency, urgency, incontinence (male and female), recurrent UTIs, blood in urine (haematuria — 2WW pathway where indicated), bladder symptoms. Diagnostic workup including urinalysis, imaging where appropriate.

Men’s health

Erectile dysfunction (urological causes), testicular concerns, varicocele, hydrocele, suspicious testicular lumps (urgent referral pathway), male sexual function. Often co-managed with our men's health GP service.

Kidney & stone disease

Renal colic, kidney stone assessment, recurrent stones investigation, metabolic stone workup. Imaging arranged where indicated; onward referral to lithotripsy or surgical stone services.

Suspected cancer pathways

Where there's concern about prostate, kidney, bladder or testicular cancer, Dr Bahl can fast-track the appropriate workup — including 2WW NHS pathway where the patient prefers it, or private accelerated pathway.

Hair transplant consultations

Pre-procedure surgical consultations as part of our hair transplant team alongside Dr Bolat, Dr Gupta, Dr Kurti and our technicians.

If you’re booking

What to expect.

Standard appointment

Most consultations are 30–45 minutes for an initial assessment, shorter for follow-ups. You’ll be seen in a single appointment, with bloods, ECG or other tests (if needed) usually done on the same visit.

Follow-up

Results from on-site tests are typically back within 24–48 hours via TDL (our laboratory partner). Follow-up consultations are scheduled to discuss results, refine treatment, or make onward referrals. With your consent, we write to your NHS GP so your record stays joined-up.

Onward referrals

Where your case needs a different specialist, Dr Kishore refers to a panel of trusted clinicians across London — matched to your specific need. We don’t take commission or referral fees from any external provider.

Insurance & self-pay

The clinic is recognised by major UK private medical insurers including Bupa, AXA Health, Vitality, Aviva, Cigna and WPA. Pre-authorisation is usually required. For self-pay patients, fees are confirmed before any test, procedure or report is started. Full pricing is on our price list.
