About Dr Arjola Kurti

GMC-registered, across the clinic.

Dr Kurti is a GMC-registered doctor with experience across general practice settings. At My Health & Wellbeing Clinic she provides general medical consultations — the kinds of concerns patients would normally see their GP for — alongside her work in the clinic's hair transplant team.

Her role spans routine and same-day medical consultations, general health concerns, prescribing where clinically appropriate, onward referrals to specialists, and pre-procedure medical assessments. She works closely with the rest of the clinical team and refers within the clinic for specialist input where appropriate.

As part of the hair transplant team alongside Dr Bolat, Dr Gupta, Dr Bahl and our technicians, Dr Kurti supports the medical assessment, consultation and aftercare side of the procedure pathway.

What they see

Clinical focus.

The range of work this clinician does at the clinic. Some appointments are routine; some sit at the boundary of where a specialist referral is needed, and we'll say so.

General medical consultations

Acute and routine medical concerns, the kinds of issues most patients see their GP for. Time taken to assess, discuss findings, and decide what's needed next — whether that's investigations, treatment, or onward referral.

Prescriptions & treatment review

Acute prescribing where clinically appropriate, treatment reviews, repeat prescription assessment, advice on over-the-counter alternatives, and prescriber discussion where shared-care with your NHS GP is involved.

Health checks & screening

Routine health screening, blood test review, blood pressure assessment, BMI, general well-person checks. Onward referral to our Health MOT service for structured comprehensive screening.

Hair transplant consultations

Pre-procedure medical consultations for patients considering hair transplant, including medical history review, suitability assessment, discussion of expected outcomes and risks. Part of our hair transplant team.

Acute concerns

Same-day care for acute medical issues — minor infections, rashes, abdominal pain, headaches, urinary symptoms — with time taken to assess properly.

Onward referrals

Where your case needs a specialist consultant, Dr Kurti refers within the clinic (cardiology, gastroenterology, women's health, etc.) or onward to a panel of trusted London consultants — with no commission or referral fees.

If you’re booking

What to expect.

Standard appointment

Most consultations are 30–45 minutes for an initial assessment, shorter for follow-ups. You’ll be seen in a single appointment, with bloods, ECG or other tests (if needed) usually done on the same visit.

Follow-up

Results from on-site tests are typically back within 24–48 hours via TDL (our laboratory partner). Follow-up consultations are scheduled to discuss results, refine treatment, or make onward referrals. With your consent, we write to your NHS GP so your record stays joined-up.

Onward referrals

Where your case needs a different specialist, Dr Arjola refers to a panel of trusted clinicians across London — matched to your specific need. We don’t take commission or referral fees from any external provider.

Insurance & self-pay

The clinic is recognised by major UK private medical insurers including Bupa, AXA Health, Vitality, Aviva, Cigna and WPA. Pre-authorisation is usually required. For self-pay patients, fees are confirmed before any test, procedure or report is started. Full pricing is on our price list.
