Acelya Sarioglu is a Psychologist at MHW Clinic, working with adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, and the everyday psychological challenges that benefit from structured therapeutic support. She speaks English and Turkish.
Acelya is a qualified psychologist working in private practice at MHW Clinic. Her clinical work focuses on the kinds of psychological difficulties that don't always need consultant-level psychiatric input but benefit from structured, evidence-based therapy — the gap that GP-led services often can't fill.
Her approach is integrative, drawing on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities, adapted to what the client is bringing. Sessions are 50 minutes; courses of work are agreed openly at the start and reviewed periodically.
She speaks English and Turkish. Many of her clients prefer to work in Turkish, particularly when the issues involve family dynamics, generational concerns, or cultural identity — the conversations that work better in your first language.
The range of work this clinician does at the clinic. Some appointments are routine; some sit at the boundary of where a specialist referral is needed, and we'll say so.

Results from on-site tests are typically back within 24–48 hours via TDL (our laboratory partner). Follow-up consultations are scheduled to discuss results, refine treatment, or make onward referrals. With your consent, we write to your NHS GP so your record stays joined-up.
