Transparent pricing

All fees on our price list.

Full pricing for all consultations, procedures and reports is published on our price list. We do not charge separate appointment fees on top of quoted prices, and all costs are confirmed before any test, procedure or report is started.

Three reasons patients switch

Healthcare that respects your time — and your money.

Vs. NHS

No two-week wait.

The average wait for an NHS GP appointment in London is now over two weeks. Ours is same day, every day, including weekends. When something feels off, you shouldn't have to choose between waiting it out or sitting in A&E for six hours.

Vs. telehealth apps

A doctor who's actually here.

GP at Hand, Livi and other video-only services are convenient until you need an examination, a blood draw, an ECG, or someone to look you in the eye. We see you in person — same building, same doctor, same day. Or by video if that genuinely suits you better.

Vs. Harley Street

Half the price, same standard.

A first GP consultation on Harley Street starts at two to three times our rate. Same UK-trained, GMC-registered doctors. Same diagnostic standards. Same prescriptions. We're East London by postcode, not by ambition.

A note from our Clinical Director
“I trained in the NHS. I worked in family medicine, urgent care and A&E for over a decade. I opened this clinic for the same reason most of our patients come through the door: no one should wait two weeks to be heard.

What a GP appointment covers

Almost everything an NHS GP can do — on your schedule.

Diagnosis & treatment

For common illnesses — coughs, fevers, infections, sore throats, digestive issues, skin complaints, allergies and more.

Prescriptions & repeats

Issued and printed during your visit. Repeat prescriptions arranged for ongoing medications. NHS-equivalent — no premium pricing on the medication itself.

Sick notes & fit notes

Same-day, signed, employer-compliant. For absence from work, fitness to fly, return-to-work plans and insurance claims.

Specialist referrals

Direct, named referrals to consultants across cardiology, dermatology, ENT, gastroenterology, gynaecology, psychiatry and more — with private or NHS pathways depending on your insurance.

Chronic disease management

Ongoing care for diabetes, hypertension, asthma, thyroid disease and other long-term conditions. Reviews, monitoring, blood tests & medication adjustments.

Mental health support

First-line support for anxiety, depression, sleep issues and stress. Onward referral to our in-house psychiatrists and counsellors when appropriate.

Blood tests & diagnostics

Ordered, taken on site by our nurses, and processed by The Doctors Laboratory (TDL). Results in 24 hours for most panels.

Vaccinations & travel medicine

Flu, COVID-19, HPV, MMR, hepatitis, yellow fever, tetanus, travel jabs, malaria prophylaxis & pre-travel consultations.

Child & family GP

Paediatric consultations, baby checks, child health reviews — calm, child-friendly rooms and family bookings.

Designed for proper consultations

Quiet rooms. Real privacy.
No conveyor belt.

Five consultation rooms across two floors. Step-free entry. Ground-floor consultations if you need them. Soundproofed walls. Examinations done in private, not on a paper-curtain ward. See the clinic →

Or see a GP online

A real doctor, by video.
Wherever you are.

Travelling, working late, or just don't want to leave the house? Book a video consultation with the same UK GMC-registered GPs you'd see in clinic. Prescriptions sent to your local pharmacy, sick notes emailed, referrals arranged — everything in-clinic, online.

  • Same-day video appointments
  • UK-registered GPs — not an offshore call centre
  • Prescriptions to your local pharmacy or for collection
  • Suitable for follow-ups, repeats and non-physical concerns

Common questions

Before you book.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

Almost always yes. We hold same-day slots every day, including weekends. The fastest route is to book online for real-time availability, or call us — reception answers around the clock.

Are your GPs really NHS-trained UK doctors?

Yes. Every doctor at MHW Clinic is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and qualified to practise in the UK. Most have NHS backgrounds in family medicine, A&E or urgent care. You can verify any UK doctor's registration on the GMC register.

Will my private GP write prescriptions and sick notes?

Yes — both during your consultation. Private treatments are accepted at all UK pharmacies. Sick notes and fit notes are signed, dated and employer-compliant. There may be a small additional fee for the prescription itself, which we'll tell you upfront.

Do you accept private medical insurance?

Yes — we work with Bupa, AXA Health, Vitality, Aviva, Cigna, WPA and other major UK insurers. Please obtain pre-authorisation from your insurer before booking so the appointment is covered. More about insurance →

Which tier should I book — Standard, Extended or Premium?

Standard (15 min) is right for a single, focused concern — a new symptom, a prescription, a sick note. Extended (25 min) suits people with multiple issues or a complex medical history. Premium (40 min) is for a thorough head-to-toe review — lifestyle, mental health, family history — and is the closest thing we offer to a full executive consultation.

Can I see the same GP each time?

Yes, when you book. Continuity of care is one of the reasons people leave the NHS for us. You can request a specific GP on every booking through our online system, or just tell reception when you call.

Is this a GP registration, or pay-as-you-go?

Pay-as-you-go. No registration, no contract, no monthly subscription. You only pay for the appointments you actually use. You keep your NHS GP, and we'll always send a summary letter back to them with your consent.

What's the difference between this and your urgent care service?

A private GP appointment is for non-emergency primary care — things you'd normally book your NHS GP for. Urgent care is for something acute that's happened today: fever, pain, infection, minor injury. If you're not sure, call us — reception will route you.

Same-day appointments

A GP appointment, today.

Whatever you've been waiting on the NHS for — chances are we can see you about it today. Book online or call reception — whichever's faster.
