What happens next

From contact to consultation.

Step 1

You contact us

WhatsApp, call, book online or email — whichever suits. AI reception answers calls 24/7.

Step 2

We confirm the details

Type of appointment, clinician (if you have a preference), date and time. Pre-authorisation if you’re using insurance.

Step 3

Pre-visit message

A confirmation arrives by text or email with the address, parking and transport notes, and anything to bring or prepare.

Step 4

Your visit

Arrive 5 minutes early, check in with reception, see your clinician at the appointed time. Most appointments run on schedule.

Common questions

Before you book, a few quick answers.

Do I need to register before my first visit?
Registration is quick — you can complete it online before you arrive or in 5 minutes at reception on the day. It helps if you have your insurance details (if relevant) and a photo ID.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Photo ID (passport or driving licence), insurance details if applicable, a current medication list, and any previous letters, scans or results that are relevant. If you’re bringing a child, please bring their red book if you have it.
How early should I arrive?
5–10 minutes is plenty. The clinic is on the ground floor with step-free access. Reception will check you in and take you through to the waiting area.
Can I bring a chaperone, friend or family member?
Yes. You can bring someone with you, or ask reception for a clinic chaperone during examinations or procedures — this is your right. See our chaperone policy for details.
How quickly will you respond if I message or email?
WhatsApp during clinic hours: usually within a few minutes. Out-of-hours WhatsApp/email: replied to first thing the next morning. Phone calls are answered immediately, 24/7, by our AI reception.
Can I cancel or reschedule, and is there a fee?
Yes, easily — just give us at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Same-day bookings are exempt from the 48-hour rule. See our cancellation policy.
If something has gone wrong

We take complaints seriously.

If you’re unhappy with any aspect of your care, please tell us. Most concerns can be resolved quickly when raised early. Email complaints@mhwclinic.co.uk — we acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to fully respond within 20 working days, per our complaints policy. You can also escalate to the CQC or Parliamentary & Health Service Ombudsman if you’re not satisfied with our response.

Always answered · 24/7

No phone trees. No voicemail.
Ever.

Most London clinics close their phones at 5pm. We don’t. Inside clinic hours (9am–7pm, 7 days), a real person on our team answers. The moment we close, our AI reception takes over — not as a fallback, but as a proper service.

It can book appointments, answer common questions about services and pricing, take callbacks, and triage urgency — in plain English, Turkish, Bengali, Arabic, French and more. Everything is logged and reviewed the next morning by a real human.
