How much does a private GP cost?

Private GP consultations at our Whitechapel clinic start from £59, with transparent pricing and no hidden costs. Full pricing for all 25+ services and 200+ priced items including blood tests, ultrasound, ADHD assessments and specialist consultations is listed on our fees page.

Do I need a GP referral?

No referral needed for most appointments — you can book directly with a private GP, ultrasound, blood tests or many of our specialist services. A small number of consultant clinics prefer a referral letter, which our GPs can issue same-day if needed.

How quickly can I be seen?

Most private GP appointments are available the same day, including evenings and weekends. We're open seven days a week 9am–7pm at our Whitechapel clinic, serving patients across East London, the City of London, Aldgate and Liverpool Street.

Do you accept private medical insurance?

Many appointments are self-pay with an itemised invoice you can submit to Bupa, AXA, Vitality, Aviva or Cigna for reimbursement where applicable. Please contact our reception team to confirm your specific insurance arrangement before booking.

Where exactly are you located?

We're at 97-99 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1DT, in East London. Aldgate East is the closest station, just a few minutes' walk away. Whitechapel station (Elizabeth, District & Hammersmith & City lines and the Overground) and Liverpool Street are also nearby — a short journey from the City of London. Do I need to register before my first visit?

Registration is quick — you can complete it online before you arrive or in 5 minutes at reception on the day. It helps if you have your insurance details (if relevant) and a photo ID.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Photo ID (passport or driving licence), insurance details if applicable, a current medication list, and any previous letters, scans or results that are relevant. If you’re bringing a child, please bring their red book if you have it.

How early should I arrive?

5–10 minutes is plenty. The clinic is on the ground floor with step-free access. Reception will check you in and take you through to the waiting area.

Can I bring a chaperone, friend or family member?

Yes. You can bring someone with you, or ask reception for a clinic chaperone during examinations or procedures — this is your right. See our chaperone policy for details.

How quickly will you respond if I message or email?

WhatsApp during clinic hours: usually within a few minutes. Out-of-hours WhatsApp/email: replied to first thing the next morning. Phone calls are answered immediately, 24/7, by our AI reception.

Can I cancel or reschedule, and is there a fee?

Yes, easily — just give us at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Same-day bookings are exempt from the 48-hour rule. See our cancellation policy.
